My initals are SEW and Im in the 8th grade. I started Storefront in the 6th grade; when I firsted started going here I was shy and didn't know anyone at first. After a few weeks I was comfortable and had many friends as well. I am a good student and maintain my good grades. In 6th grade I participated in running club and in 8th I am on the basketball team. These acticvities are really fun and I saw improvement in both of them. This is my last year at Storefront and I am sad about leaving all of my friends and teachers but I am happy that i am moving on 2 bigger and better things.

My greatest experience was my first year of womens mentoring in the 7th grade. We learned a lot of things such as learning how to produce a resume and we went out on trips and discussed many things. There wasn't really anything difficult about womens mentoring. I like it more now in the 8th grade now we are doing a documentary on the changes in harlem over the years. I am very excited about it and I know it will be great.

I am looking for a high school that fits my academic and social needs. I would like to go away for school. A school that caters to my specific needs such as my struggle in math. I would like a teacher like the one I have now who will go out of her way to make sure i understand it. A school where I feel comfortable and I really enjoy going to.

I want to wish the classes after me a good luck and to work hard. Not everything will be easy and will come to you, sometimes you are going to struggle but it will pay off. To pay attention in class and shool in general. Take advantage of Storefront because it is a once in a lifetime school!
