I became a member of The Children storefront in the fourth grade. That is when I met two very special people Ms. Murumba and Ms. Velare. They were smart and amazing. They taught me things that I never thought I would be able to learn. I thought that I was not going to be able to learn those things, because in my other school I really didn't do any thing or learn that much. The reason why I enjoyed my years at Storefront were, because it was like a family and another home. Storefront was a place where you could come and talk to them about any and every thing. As I have gotten older and going on to higher grades I became more open and happy, Iearned many new things and started to engage more into class disscusion. I would have to say that Storefront is the best school that I have ever attended. I think that the teachers, staff and faculity members have done a great job of dealing with the student and teaching them and treating them like a family. I would have to say that as the years went on the school has done many thing to make the school diffrent but better.
The greatest thing that I would say that happened at Storefront was them getting the girls basketball team back. I was so excited about hearing that because I thought that it was going to be a great oppurtunity to learn how to play basketball and to prove to the boys that girls in the class can play ball. As the years went on I became better and better. I started to enjoy it more and take it more serious. As some of the teachers may no I became very good at it. The thing that I would say was diffitcult was staying out if trouble, getting into arguments, fights and of course jealousy because of boy girl drama.
In the next five to ten years I would have to say that I would become either a model or an attist. Of course staying beautiful as I am. But before that I would be in college so that I can get my degree. So that if things don't go right with the modeling and art I can always go and get a really good job.
My last words that I would leave to my fellow students are to stay at your best, become the best you can become, do all of your work and just have fun. Oh yeah just love the Storefront community because they will be there for the good and bad times even if you have graduated. So cherish the teachers and staff and faculity members wit all of your hearts. Oh yeah one more thing there are going to be times when you are not going to get alon with the teachers but at the end you have to be good to them because tey are the ones giving you the grades that you deserve. Also where you go to hight school your work and there work is going to be a big part of high schol placement. So like i said have fun live life and stay focused.
