My history at theStorefront is not very long because I came here in the middle of seventh grade. My first memory is seeing students playing basketball in front of building 70 in the morning before the bell rang. One of the graduates who is now my best friend Blaze Davis was the person who toured me around the school. This year in eighth grade I'm doing a lot better this year than last year. I'm looking forward to High School next year and the challenges it should bring.

This experience here at Storefront has been really great. I have made a lot of friends here and impressed a lot of teachers and I have an okay reputation. Now here at Storefront it's not all easy go lucky, there are some real challenges here like getting high school essays in, doing multiple class projects and other stuff. If there was anything I learned from this school it's that the Core Values that this school has instilled in me will take me far in life. I plan in about two or three years to be standing in front of hundreds of people accepting my Academy award. Like I said on my web page I plan to be the Humphrey Bogart. He is the real reason why I like the theater. The biggest challenge I ever had at this school was preparing for the 2007 Black History Month preformence. I was reading a passage from the Autobiography of Frederick Douglass. There were some days when I could remember all of my lines and some when I could not.

When I get to high school some of the things that I am looking forward to is meeting new people, new teachers, new personalities and more. I really am looking forward to 9th grade history. History is my favorite subject of all time. I have set some goals for my life. I plan to become an actor and star in all types of movies. The top three genre's I want to have a role in are Action/Fantasy/ Drama. I also would like to attend Morehouse College, that is where Samuel L. Jackson went and he is a well respected actor. Also when I achieve my dream of acting, I would like to give a real generous donation to this school for preparing me for this world outside of Storefront.

When all is said and done the Storefront is a real wonderful place to be. The students and the staff here at Storefront will always have a place in my heart no matter where the future takes me. For the classes that will be graduating after us, never allow your dreams to die no matter what happens. You have the power to control your future and your destiny so leave Storefront strong. Remember this, always remember how special you are and how powerful you can become through hardwork, dedication and perserverance always this because you are important you atre strong we are a community and we are the Storefront.
